In addition to presenting the state budget, the CM announced that the Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC) would establish new industrial clusters in nine locations around the state.
He went on to say that the state government would develop giant textile parks in Raichur, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, and Chikmagalur districts, as well as mini textile parks in 25 sites across the state, in order to employ 25K people this year (2023).

Importantly, the CM announced intentions to construct a multi-model startup park in November 2022, with a focus on various industries ranging from agritech to genomics.
He also revealed the state government’s plans to create six high-tech cities in six months in Gulbarga, Hubli, Dharwad, Mysore, Mangaluru, and central Karnataka.
